Obidim is a picturesque village in southwestern Bulgaria, nestled in the Rhodope Mountains near Bansko. a little history...

​The village was founded in the 14th century. During the Ottoman rule, the local population strongly preserved the Bulgarian patriotic spirit and as a result the village was burned down in 1903. In 1912 the village was finally liberated. The village land of nearly 65, 000 sqm, has a total of 13 churches, chapels, iconostasis and a monastery. Church of Saint Nicholas Chudotvorets was built in 1842.
